Zootopia

Today, we went to the Seattle Zoo. It was a typical zoo experience. I’m partial to the Bronx Zoo, but the Woodland Park zoo wasn’t as disappointing as other zoos I have been to (I’m talking about you Philly!). My only real complaint was that the giraffe enclosure was a little small. My favorite spot was the orangutan enclosure. It was rather large and the orangutans were not feeling all the people. It was hilarious to watch them hide from prying eyes. One put one of those giant rice bags over his head to avoid looking at humans. We spent a fair amount of time exploring around. Seattle Bound

At the end of June, I went on a family trip to Orcas Island, Washington. I flew into Seattle and spent about a week there before I joined the rest of my extended family. It was my first time visiting Seattle, and I love to experience new places. I have a cousin that loves it there; she visits all the time. She always says wonderful things about Seattle. I think she eventually wants to move there. After spending some time, I can safely say that I don’t have a need to go back again.
