Yesterday, I had the privilege of hanging out with some amazing alpacas. I’ve been obsessed with llamas and alpacas for ages, and I finally got to interact with them! Continue reading “Alpaca Fun”
Normally I am a Burt’s Bees kind of girl. But a little bit ago, I saw an ad for a lip balm in a black skull container. I’m kind of obsessed with black and skulls, so it was a no brainer.
Yesterday I ventured out to see a solo exhibition of the works of Jean-Michel Basquiat. I will say, I am not a super fan of his work, but overall enjoyed the experience. Continue reading “Visiting Basquiat”
I’ve had the same glasses for like 5 years, so I thought it was time for a new pair. My prescription hasn’t changed, so I just added a pair to my collection. I chose to try out Warby Parker…
So a few weeks ago, I took a short trip out to Berkeley, mainly to check out the school district there. I’m contemplating a move to the West Coast. Keep reading to hear my adventures… Continue reading “San Francisco&Berkeley”
So I realized that I should probably have a lifestyle section if I’m going to pretend to be a real blogger. Since I can’t always be traveling, I should be writing about something. I guess my daily nonsense will have to do.
I’m the worst when it comes to blogging about fashion. Probably because I’m slightly uncomfortable talking about myself. Travel and cool art I can do;, me, not so much. But here is a quick reference of my Frida Kahlo exhibit outfit. Continue reading “What I Wore: Frida Kahlo”
There is a new Frida Kahlo exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum . As a member, I was able to check it out a day early. If possible, it always helps to be a member at the museums you frequent. 1) early access to cool exhibitions and 2) tickets even when the event has sold out to the public. Right now, the Kahlo exhibit tickets are sold out but members can get them. Continue reading “Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving”
Obviously, I enjoy pop up museums. So I jump at the chance to see new ones. Yesterday, April 25, I visited a pop up in Manhattan called The Egg House. You can find them on Instagram under the @theegghouse. It is an egg-themed, instagramable space, that will be in Manhattan until the end of July. Randomly, the man in the storefront next door handed us a prize ball with an egg pin inside as we walked by. It was a great start of the visit. Continue reading “The Egg House”
So after having a blast at the Museum of Ice Cream San Francisco, I jumped at the chance to visit the newest version, Miami. Tickets were easier to purchase and surprisingly they didn’t sell out very fast. I procured tickets for a weekend in January (I’m behind on posting, I know) and then got on to finding plane tickets. I was in dire need of a mini vacation and recruited a friend to tag along.
