Zootopia
Today, we went to the Seattle Zoo. It was a typical zoo experience. I’m partial to the Bronx Zoo, but the Woodland Park zoo wasn’t as disappointing as other zoos I have been to (I’m talking about you Philly!). My only real complaint was that the giraffe enclosure was a little small. My favorite spot was the orangutan enclosure. It was rather large and the orangutans were not feeling all the people. It was hilarious to watch them hide from prying eyes. One put one of those giant rice bags over his head to avoid looking at humans. We spent a fair amount of time exploring around. Sampling Seattle Pt. 2
The next morning I had arranged a “Ride the Duck” boat tour. We had tickets for noon, so we grabbed a quick breakfast and headed back into Seattle.
