Tickets were easier to purchase and surprisingly they didn’t sell out very fast. I procured tickets for a weekend in January (I’m behind on posting, I know) and then got on to finding plane tickets. I was in dire need of a mini vacation and recruited a friend to tag along.

Museum of Ice Cream San Francisco

I missed my chance on the original in New York City. By the time I had heard about it, it was over. Then this year they opened one in Los Angeles. Yet again, I missed my chance because it had sold out by the time the news reached my ears. Fortunately I had an epiphany and I signed up for the newsletter. Chiang Mai

We had plans to sightsee in Chiang Mai today. We had breakfast. I saw a mouse dart from under one table to another. That was it for me eating at our hotel. We got dressed and tried to hail a tuk tuk outside of our hotel. We went through three drivers before we haggled a decent price to the mountain temple and a few other temples. Bangkok day two…

It was nice to sleep in. I was still tired from yesterday. We got ourselves together and went downstairs. A tuk tuk driver tried to scam us into going to the less than stellar local floating market. What I actually packed

Here is a comprehensive list of what I’ve packed. When I return home, I will update with what was useful and what was not. To start off I will say I stuck to a color story to make it easier on myself. Burgundy/wine and a teal/turquoise are my main colors. I supplemented with grey and a few black pieces because, who am I kidding, black is my favorite thing to cover my body with. Back to the list…
